Staying at this temple was an experience I'll never forget. the peacefulness and beauty of the location is unique, and the rituals and ceremonies led by the monks were incredible. the rooms were simple but beautiful, and the futon was warm and comfortable. the food was delicious, and it was interesting to learn about the historical aspects of the dishes. the hospitality was exceptional, with the monks going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
It would have been nice to have more English translations for some of the rituals and ceremonies.

Our romantic escape at this temple hotel was beyond amazing! We were blown away by the serene and peaceful ambiance, which made it perfect for couples. the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. In our room, we appreciated the simple yet elegant decor and the incredibly comfortable futon beds. One of the best aspects was the traditional Japanese breakfast served in our room, which included a variety of fresh and delicious foods.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the beauty of traditional Japan. Sleeping on futon mats was a unique experience that felt comfortable and authentic. The English pamphlets were quite helpful in understanding the historical significance of the food, which was tasty and filling. The location provided gorgeous panoramic views of nature.
There was nothing explaining what rituals to follow or how to participate. We felt lost and out of place, which significantly detracted from our enjoyment.
